Mparntwe Zen Group

Being just this moment with open-hearted attention and compassion

We acknowledge the Arrernte people as the traditional custodians of this land on which we practice. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We support all First Nations People for truth, treaty and reconciliation.

Welcome

We are a small Zen Buddhist meditation group meeting at Red Dust Zendo in Connellan, near Mparntwe (Alice Springs).

We welcome people of all backgrounds, whether new to meditation or experienced practitioners.

Zen meditation is a simple practice of sitting quietly and attentively with life as it is.

People sit in a variety of ways according to their needs and comfort. Meditation cushions (zafus and zabutons) and chairs are provided. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.

There is no charge for attending.
